Lionel huffed and puffed as he raced through the streets of the town square. He had been looking around for about an hour, but he hadn’t passed by any cats with a mailbag. He had mainly been looking through the same part of town, though, so he knew chances were he wasn’t going to find anyone there. Still, though, you would think that there would be someone delivering mail, even if they didn’t have the box of chocolates. Wasn’t Valentines Day supposed to be a busy mail day?

The only sound that could be heard in the darkness of the street was a faint pitter-patter of paws and the occasional chuckle of a highly amused drifloon. He didn’t know why he did his best to be so stealthy, and he didn’t really care; he was a ninja right now.
